OUR
TRAINING
PROGRAMS
When it comes to forklift / powered industrial truck training our prices aren’t the lowest. However, the training delivered to our clients is the highest quality and most in-depth courses available in the industry.
Our focus is developing safe, efficient operators for your operations. There are training providers that will charge a low rate but deliver low-quality training in an unrealistically fast period.
Employee Forklift Training provides three levels of operator training:
1. New equipment operators;
2. License Recertifications
3. Combined equipment operator training courses
Our operator training and certification programs have been designed with the goal of delivering the highest quality training at the most reasonable prices.
OUR PRICES
Our new equipment operator training course is designed to take employees with no previous experience operating the type(s) of trucks the employee will be expected to operate in the workplace.
This course is designed to ensure employees receive a full, in-depth classroom training session to learn and understand the technical and safety aspects of operating the truck(s).
The operators are then led through a detailed fork truck overview and introduction.
The next phase of the new forklift / powered industrial truck operator’s course is the hands-on training. This portion of the training provides employees with the opportunity to become familiar with the truck(s) and their control surfaces.
WHAT PROBLEMS DO YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO TO THE RIGHT?
After employees have had their hands-on training and coaching session, they spend time practicing their skills through hands-on practice sessions.
Lastly, employees are required to complete an instructor observation of their skills to ensure they are comfortable and competent to safely operate the equipment.
License re-certification programs are designed to take licensed equipment operators and validate their knowledge and skills to continue to operate the equipment safely.
The forklift / powered industrial truck re-certification program is 100% OSHA compliant and designed to minimize time off the floor to comply with OSHA’s three-year operator evaluation requirement.
Operators must have either a current license or be expired by no more than thirty days. Operators are required to complete a knowledge assessment test.
If the operator successfully completes their test, they are then put through a series of hands-on truck operation skills.
If the operator demonstrates safe, smooth, and efficient skills they will be re-certified for another three-years. Remember, this is not a training course. Employees will receive no training as employers are certifying the operators are competent for re-certification.
The benefits of this type of program limit the amount of time that forklift operators are off the floor. This ensures OSHA compliance and operator competence while minimizing employee training time costs to your salaries and wages budget.
Our final program is the Combined Operator program. This course is designed to save on training costs while minimizing employee time off the floor.
Why? Well, licensed operators don’t need to complete a full re-training, unless the employer requests it. Requiring these operators to remain off the floor being unproductive doesn’t make sense and costs the company more money. Likewise, employees who are brand new to the equipment are required to complete the full training course.
This program allows you to combine operators into a single class at a reduced rate to save some money and employee time.
