At 6:45 p.m. on March 21, 2019, an employee was working for a firm that manufactured converted paper products. He was pulling inventory for shipping. He was operating a forklift. He made a turn too quickly on the forklift. He struck a racking system. He suffered broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and shoulder injuries. He was hospitalized."

Forklift Resources

Resource library materials are collected from sources available freely from across the internet.  OSHA and ANSI codes, sample plans, forms, videos, etc.

Consolidating and curating resource materials creates a single source for our clients to come to look for free forklift and powered industrial truck resources.  Why pay for materials if they are freely available on the internet?

Our members can view and download posters, accident investigations, photos, outlines, etc. in one convenient location.

We encourage our members to take advantage of the resource library for forklifts and powered industrial trucks.  Download, modify and implement the resources into your facility's daily operations.

Whether you're looking for manuals for a swing reach truck, chicane course layouts, checklists, posters, photos, and more for walkie riders, order pickers, stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, cherry-pickers, reach trucks, boom lifts, Zambonis, and more, the resource library is likely to have what you need.

Incident Investigation Reporting | WorkSafeBC

If a workplace incident takes place, employers have a responsibility to investigate to identify the cause and hazards, which helps prevent similar incidents from happening in the future. This video shows the steps in an incident investigation and demonstrates the Employer Incident Investigation Report (EIIR) documentation and submission process. In this video, a supervisor and worker discuss an incident at work, how they corrected the issue immediately, and how they fill out their employer incident investigation report. This video serves as a resource on the steps for completing a workplace incident investigation report in British Columbia. It also reminds employers that investigations need to involve the joint health and safety committee or worker health and safety representative where applicable. Forklift Resources

As an employer, you are responsible for ensuring your operators are driving safely and within the confines of OSHA code.  Do you know what those guidelines are?

If OSHA were to walk into your facility tomorrow because of a complaint, scheduled inspection, or serious accident investigation, would you be able to pull-up all required training, observation, and corrective action documentation that is required of every equipment operator?

Would your facility and equipment pass an OSHA inspection?  Do your business leaders know how to manage and supervise operators and actions to take when operators are observed operating their equipment in an unsafe manner, are involved in a crash, or are injured by one of your trucks?

Only Employee Forklift Training provides their clients with a quarterly copy of the Safety Magazine as well as access to our extensive list of material handling equipment resource materials.

Having a single location to go to when you have a problem or question makes managing your material handling equipment fleet far easier.
