Forklift Classroom Training &

Assessment for New Operators

Why is Classroom Training Important?

Classroom education and learning environments for forklift and powered industrial trucks are critical components of training forklift drivers on the important elements, characteristics, and operating performance guidelines specific to the equipment in use at your facility.

A single, poorly or inadequately trained employee operating a piece of equipment can seriously injure or kill people or cause massive disruption to operations and damage to expensive equipment and materials.

Would you feel confident and comfortable sending an employee with less than one hour of online training and NO hands on, practical behind the wheel training or practice out onto your floor?  Would your other forklift and equipment operators feel safe?  How about your non-equipment operators/pedestrians, would they feel safe with such poorly trained operators driving around them?

Topics Covered

It's critical your employees receive full classroom-training so they understand the critical foundations of becoming safe and efficient equipment operators.

While OSHA permits several methods in which this formal training can be completed, Employee Forklift Training delivers an immersive classroom learning environment, in combination with hands-on orientations.  Then, behind the wheel training, employee practice with instructor coaching and a final instructor observation to verify operator competency.

There are training providers online right now advertising that they can deliver training to anyone in equipment operation, in less than one hour!  This is patently false.  There is simply no way that an operator candidate can learn everything necessary to safe and efficient equipment operation in such as short period of time.

You Get What

You Pay For

We take deeper dives into the complexities of equipment operation.  Remember the old adage, "You get what you pay for".  Our instructors cover all required OSHA training topics plus many, many additional training points.

Our focus is to ensure that when we return an employee to you, they are as ready as they can be to begin safely operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks in your busy production environments.

In the classroom sessions, your instructor takes that time to assess your employees to determine whether or not they will make good, safe, efficient forklift and equipment operators.

Avoid, at all costs, the urge to get your employees trained as cheaply and quickly as possible.  You know what will happen; close call incidents, damaged trucks and equipment, employee injuries, unsafe facilities and operations and the very reall possibility of a serious/fatal accident.
